Tensions between Nouveaux Entrepôts et Garages (NEG) and Docks Management (DM) have reached a critical point. DM failed to meet the contractual requirement of collecting 95% of rents within 30 days, leading NEG to terminate the contract on 25 February. DM, represented by Anouk De Graef and Jacques Verhaegen, disputes this termination, arguing that it cannot be enforced without proper notice.

The court has ordered DM to continue its services under penalty of a daily fine of €500,000. Despite NEG purchasing DM’s shares for €1, a share transfer agreement sent by NEG was rejected by DM. Nicolas Vanderstappen, attorney for NEG, emphasised the importance of adhering to the contract’s terms.

While both parties have a mutual interest in finding a resolution, the situation remains tense.
